In order to run a great online business and you need to have a great web hosting company behind you. There is no way of getting around this issue.
Arguably you may need lots of different web hosts, depending on your blog or search engine strategy.
Don’t rely on free web hosts!
With free web hosts, their contract is with their advertiser, not you. Also free web hosts can come and go, and have been know to disappear entirely taking all your hard earned web traffic with them.
Also register your own domain name. Keep this with a seperate domain registrar to the hosting. So if you host with Hostgator, register with say with Godaddy. Its a simple procedure to repoint domains and change nameservers.
I have lost count of the number of shared web hosting accounts I have.
So if anyone knows about web hosting I’d say I do.
