Cheap Web Hosting is a Priority.

by John Henderson.

If your looking to get online for the first time or are fed up with the lack of features and support from your existing hosting provider then you have many options available to you. Have you done any research to gain an understanding or are you flying blind.

Over the last five years i have personally reviewed more than 100 different cheap web hosting providers so i have a vast amount of knowledge that allows me to choose the best host the first time. If you have not done your research then you could choose a service that would not suit your business.

I did this research to gain a better understanding of how different companies operate and once my research was complete i could preach to my new and existing clients what would be best for their online business and what service would not limit their potential.

If i were to start another business from scratch i would want to know what my new business would require before i think of purchasing a new hosting account. For me it would be simple as i already have an unlimited hosting account so i can just place it straight on there.

The cheap web hosting sector is saturated with providers who cannot provide a top quality service due to lack of resources but there are a few gold nuggets beneath the sand as well. The more popular hosts can quite obviously afford to fund the running costs and therefore provide quality services.

Are you an individual who requires many websites in order to operate. This would include individuals who design websites and wish to offer a hosting service as an extra money spinner for existing clients. If so then you would be better off with an unlimited service.

I have come across alot of websites that seem to offer the same thing but if you look closely you will find out what makes the certain providers more unique and the ones i would recommend would always have unique features to help streamline online operations.

I would advise anyone who wishes to start an online business that following the majority is not the best route as the right hosting account for your business will be unique in itself and is worth doing a little research to find the right one for you.

Getting A Clue With A Domain Name Appraisal

by Roger L Moxie

So you’re new to the idea of having your own website, but you like it. It’s very likely you have no clue where to start. You’ve heard lots of phrases thrown around and statistics drawn, but you don’t know what it all means. One thing you need to do before you make the big step is to get a domain name appraisal. This will be a big tool in helping you establish your online business.

Deciding whether your selected website name is free to use or not is the first piece of key information you will receive. You may run into an issue with availability. If you do, there are a number of things you can do. You can try using another web extension with the name you want. .biz,.org,.info and many others are still wide open, so don’t sweat it. You will get information regarding the domain name if it’s about to expire. If by chance it is going to expire soon, you can find out if the current name holder is going to renew or not. You can also look up other names that are similar to the one you want.

I’m sure you’ve been run into a situation where you are trying to type the name of a website into the text field and made a typo. We all have. As much as it may grate on your nerves, you are actually providing statistical data for name domain appraisals. They look at typos of website names and misspelled words in search engine queries and use them toward your benefit. You never know who might be your best buyer!

Misspellings and incorrect query box words on search engines are tracked and the appraisal will tell you how often your site can rely on this. A domain name appraisal lets you know how much unassuming business you could count on. This is a big plus when you’re just opening up shop.

Domain names are often purchased and the owner doesn’t intend to renew the annual contract on them. Your target domain name may not be so hard to obtain after all! If you are interested in finding out if the domain name is going to expire, you can contact the current owner. Just visit the site and find an email contact. It never hurts to ask!

If you take over a domain name after someone else has, you could either profit greatly from it or get a lot of flack. Confused shoppers may overwhelm you with emails asking about the old owner. On the other hand, all of the traffic that was going to that site will now see your products and services. This could very well increase your customer base exponentially.

A quick web query provides more than two million possibilities for domain name appraisals. Don’t waste your time trying to dig through that mess. There are free trials out there but they may or may not provide the info you’re looking for. If you have to pay a small one time fee, chances are you will be getting a better service. Either way, if you end up paying, you’re investing in your upcoming success.

Using the information you obtain from a domain name appraisal can allow you to plan for your new company. Don’t be discouraged if your first choice is not available. When you use a domain name appraisal, you can set your sights on the future and begin your business immediately!

Choosing A Domain Name.

by John Henderson.

Are you aware that is extremely important to your website that it has the correct domain name. Search engines will rank your website alot higher if your domain is relevant to your websites content. Choosing the wrong one can penalise your rankings.

I know that to find the correct domain today can be pretty tough as there are so many unavailable due to been already registered. If your domain is unavailable there maybe a link on the site to offer a cash bid for the domain and it might be worth taking a look.

When you think about the domain you want to register you must do a little research as to what keyword you want to target within your market and to try to register a domain that would include that keyword. This is a very important factor and can help you no end with search engine optimisation.

I personally would not choose the top keyword as there maybe alot of competition for fist page rankings, depending on the market your promoting in. I would prefer to aim my efforts towards a two or three letter keyword as it would take half the time to get results for these than it would the top keyword.

When doing your keyword research you can use the free wordtracker tool to see the top 100 searched keywords for your market. Just type in your main subject within the tool and see what keywords are popular. Like i say, two to three word keywords are the ones to target or even four letter words if popular enough.

As its tough to find a .com i have always placed my initials and a hyphen before my chosen keyword. This way i can target any keyword and my domain is always available. If you have popular initials you can use numbers but im sure you will have no issues with this.

The importance of your chosen keyword been included in your domain is great and is well worth spending the time to research the popular keywords and finding a domain that contains the keywords by any means legally possible.

If your new to the whole domain and website world then you must always remember that your search engine rankings will be alot lower if your websites content is irrelevant to your domain name. Your domain must contain words that describe the content and services within your site
